Show & Tell

Ava wanted me to take something special for her first Show & Tell at school. It was something her and her friend Matthew found the day before. It was a good chance to photograph the classroom and it's eager pupils ;)

Future student ;)

Here were Ava's clues:
1. It can change colors to match its surroundings
2. It has ears that are located on its belly near the hind legs
3. The females eat the males

Can you guess what it is? 

Yep, one of the neatest creatures in the world; Praying Mantis! :) 

It was great to see the kids in their element again........
