Madilyn Krystal Osburn

I'm over the moon! Madilyn made her entrance into the world on October 10th in Las Vegas, Nevada. She weighed 6 lbs 11 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. New baby sister to Sydnie, Jorja, and Morgyn. She is also the 10th grandchild! Look at that sweet angel! I can't wait to meet her!

Look at her, so alert! She knows what's going on already :)

Congratulations Sarah, Jamie, Sydnie, Jorja, and Morgyn!

Hami Kids Fall Photo Shoot 2016

Every Fall, I do my usual photo shoot with the kids. It's been a tradition for years. I wait until the Virginia Creeper vine in my yard is full of color, then I pester the kids. Haha.
Willow wasn't bothered at all by it. She was thrilled to get into a cute dress and have the camera pointing her direction! She is the definition of cheer. Just look at these expressions:

Next up, Zig Zag ~ our sweet, little man. He was the least thrilled about photos because he said the sun was in his eyes. I think he was tired. But, he makes sleepy look good! He smiles and the world smiles back :)

Lastly, our mighty girl ~ Ava (Sweet Tater, as her Dad calls her). She's growing out of her shyness more. She's got this "I got this!" attitude :)

Year after year I witness my kid's amazing growth. Each one with their own personalities. They go through phases and keep transforming into these amazing, strong individuals. They accomplish great tasks with great vitality. They inspire me to be a better person. They remind me to play. They are a positive distraction at times of worry. They push me to be more present with things that really matter and disregard the things that bog me down. Having these little people in my care makes me take care of myself. After all, I have to keep up with all this energy! Hahaha

School Picture Day 2016

Ava and Isaac enjoyed picking out their outfits for School Picture Day. Isaac was excited to wear his new tie and shirt that Grandma Hamilton bought him. He looked sharp. What really pulls his look off is his confident posture. He looks so sure of himself. I love that. We didn't have time to cut his hair that week. But, I like that shaggy look on his red locks anyway ;)
Our handsome Zig Zag!

Ava has cute dresses and skirts that usually get pulled out on special occasions. She isn't a fan of wearing them very much. Quite frankly she doesn't care what she wears most of the time (except she loves her horse shirts!). But, for picture day we needed to choose a more formal outfit :)
She also doesn't care about brushing her hair most of the time. I have to remind her to take care of her long hair or we will cut it so she can manage it better. That saying, "Windy Hair; Don't Care" fits her style. So, picture day for Ava is quite a lot of work for both of us. lol
I love that she's low maintenance. Chosing outfits has never been a battle and she is confident in anything she wears. I know that may change when she gets older. But, I'm enjoying not having to buy brand names or anything specific. She's got an easy-going style right now. We just need to work on taming the mane....haha
She does clean up well! Our beautiful mighty girl!

My kids might be tired of me photographing them. But, I'm not. Their lives will be well documented. Hopefully they'll appreciate this whirlwind story we call childhood :)

Another fine school year in session. I'm hoping that time will slow down so I'm more prepared for events. I can't believe it's almost mid-October already! (insert big breath). I feel more robbed of time everyday.
