Osburn Visit: Part Two

Continuing on from my last post.........

These are just some snapshots taken at my mom's house on Saturday. We spent much of the day inside as it was still windy/snowy outside.

Presenting the Trio of Trouble: ................. Sydnie, Jorja, and Ava ;)

Silly girls!

:)

I actually took more photos than this and I'll put them on my picasa web album soon.

In other news:

Bryan left for school today and then he goes to Florida on Wednesday. He'll be gone for about a week. He'll be giving a presentation and then he'll stay a few more days and go out in the field (herpin') with a friend. It's going to be 80 degrees there! I'm so jealous! I wish I could spend some time on a beach. Someday, for sure - when things calm down........

I've been keeping busy with watching Ava and Isaac of course. Also, doing massages and catching up on my continuing education courses for my licenses/national renewals. Since we have snow on the ground again I haven't been doing much in the yard. However, there is always housework. Go figure! lol

Gwendy is doing preschool this week so Ava will be attending a couple of days. Yippee for everyone :)

I'm sure the rest of you will agree: "I'm ready to march into the month of MARCH!!!!!!"

Osburn Visit: Part One

My sister Sarah and my brother-in-law Jamie along with their adorable girls (Sydnie, Jorja, and Morgyn) came to visit on Wednesday. Seeing these first couple of photos reminds me of my childhood when my friends and I would play in the sagebrush looking for critters and finding treasures. Treasures such as a shiny rock, or a hole in the ground wondering what animal lived in it. lol - it's a great thing kids are easily entertained most of the time. I know we didn't have a care in the world back then. Ahhh, the simple life ;)

Morgyn has grown up so much since the last time I saw her. She's so happy-go-lucky and her smile is contagious :D

These photos were taken at a nearby fishing hole near my house. It wasn't the warmest day - but after all - it is still February ;)

Jim (Jamie's dad) was pretty determined to make at catch.............

Jamie rarely looks up when he knows there is a camera pointed at his direction. He needs to work on that. lol
I believe Jamie and Jim ended up catching two trout.

After a while, we went back to mom's house...............

The following day (Thursday) we hung out over at mom's house all day and we accomplished a big goal: setting up a new swingset. Jamie, Jim, and Sarah did a lot of the work, especially toward the end. Someone had to babysit the kids in the house. It was too cold and windy for Morgyn and Isaac to be out since they both weren't feeling 100 percent.

The chilly weather didn't stop these three little monkeys from trying out the new equipment!

I'm not talking about Sarah, Jamie, and Jim anymore. Ha ha!

The kids will love this for years to come!

Friday, the Osburn family drove to Eureka, NV where Jamie had a job interview.
I spent most of the day in Ely working too. Later, that evening Baker School had its annual Winter Carnival which is always fun to attend. I really enjoy playing Bingo. I failed to get pictures (even with my camera in the diaper bag)....... geez.

That night the snow started to accumulate. We ended up getting another 5-6 inches.
I'll keep you updated on Part Two of the Osburn visit v.e.r.y. soon ;)
I won't procrastinate with the post this time ;)

And He's Off!

I can't believe Isaac today. It's like he JUST decided that he was going to make an effort to take more steps. What a difference from even yesterday! Maybe he is excited about the superbowl today too :)

This kid is everywhere - and he's a pro at climbing! I have to keep the bunkbed ladder up because he can climb that. We (even Ava) make an effort to still close the toilet lids and certain doors. Isaac is obsessed with buttons and toggle & light switches.

Here is a video taken last week. He's progressing every day :)

We are headed over to my cousin (Ben Conrad's) house for the superbowl party! It's a perfect lazy Sunday!

Did I mention I'm LOVING my new camera Bryan got me!

Preschool Days

Last week when Rachel and the girls came to visit, Hayden went to preschool for the first time!
These are just some of the many photos I took of the two days she participated. I got photos of all the kids that were there that week :)
They always look like they are having such a great time. It's nice to have preschool - especially in this cold weather. Thank you Teacher Gwendy!
