HamiFami "October" 2021

My Virginia Creeper looks amazing in October and makes the perfect backdrop for portraits.

The first snow started to fly in the mountains....

Meg, April, and I hiked (5 miles) from Snake Creek over to Baker Creek. This was the first time going on this trail and the leaves were the most colorful that I've seen here in the park. At least the ones scattered around on the ground.

Breathe and Receive......

*Color Dump*

It is well with my soul......

The weather was still so beautiful we did a family bike ride (11 miles) from the top of Snake Creek to the highway.

The snow fell again, this time covering the valley floor. I knew that I needed to seize the photographic opportunity. I grabbed a warm drink and headed out the door in the morning to Snake Creek. Oh my goodness.... the beauty of Autumn and Winter!

I decided to drive up Baker Creek too.....

These are even the plants from my yard. What another gorgeous Fall season.

The 6th graders in Baker School do Chautauquas every year. This year was Isaac's turn.
He was interested in the Titanic. So, Captain "Smith" at your service!
I know at least it floats MY boat! Haha

Captain Edward Smith, Henry Ford, Marie Curie, Buffalo Bill, Daniel Boone, and King Tut (who couldn't be here for the group photo). So proud of these guys!

It's pumpkin carving season!

Trick-or-treating time! We love dressing up for Halloween!

Isaac joined the glasses club :) What a handsome guy!
