Cowboy Up

No, there aren't any bona fide cowboys or cowgirls in this house - but it sure is fun to play 'em!

Of course, I'm always quick with the draw, Uh-hum, I mean camera  ;)
Dress-up is one great way to pass the time when unfavorable conditions are present outdoors.........

Trusty side-kick "Alaska" loved the vest too!

Visit

The holidays are a great time to catch up with family & friends. It was great to spend some time with Erin, Xander, and T `ea Valadez. T `ea looks so much her mother as she grows older. Both those kids are so adorable.........

Jamie, Sarah, and the girls made it down from Eureka for a short visit. Ava had fun with her cousins.
Poor Isaac at that time was sick at home; he stayed home with Grandma Hamilton.

Don't they look like trouble?

Rehearsal for the Christmas Play

These are the photos I took of the kids while they rehearsed for the Baker/Garrison School play. They sang "Away in a Manger" and "We wish you a Merry Christmas."
A few of the kids arrived just a little bit late, which is why you don't see them all in the first few photos. They are all so cute! Doug Childs accompanied by piano :)

Nativity Play 2011

Saturday evening was the traditional Nativity play at EskDale (along with the candlelight service). My cousin, Sharon Conrad, was in charge and she did a fantastic job directing the kids. That girl wears a lot of hats! Figuratively speaking ;) Great job Sharon! Thank you!

A good time was had by all. It was even more special that Grandpa & Grandma Hamilton could be here to see it this year :)
