Croquet: Playa Style

While Sarah & Jamie and family were here visiting, we decided to play a game of croquet. However, this time was different, as we decided to drive to the Salt Flat and try the terrain there. You may think that the ball would bounce too much, however it didn't! Sydnie, the pro, nailed each hoop every time.
It was quite enjoyable. It was a little breezy, but not discouraging. I always feel "Zen" on the playa.

We haven't played this game in a long time. We needed practice (except Sydnie haha).
 I say we, but I ended up taking photos and walking around the cracked earth. I'll join in next time ;)

Fishing with Cousins

The Osburn girls had Spring Break a week before we did. We were thrilled when they decided to come spend it here. We were anticipating seeing Maddie; she's growing so fast! Guess what? We have another ginger in the family! Isaac was thrilled to learn that.

The following day we went up to Silver Creek to fish. We didn't bring our poles but it was fun to watch the Osburns catch fish, one after the other. They caught several Tiger fish too; small and large.
It was a little chilly when a breeze picked up. But the sun was shining! It is nice to have a real Spring.
