First Swim (in the Great Outdoors)

Bryan took Willow on a whirlwind family emergency trip to Ohio. We had a string of 70 degree temps so Meg and I decided to escape to Duckwater with Ava and Isaac. This place was calling our name. It is one of the most inviting swimming holes around; even if it's a two hour drive :)
It really is an oasis in the desert....

It was windy so it was chilly when we got out of the water. We got a bite to eat and dried off a little.

The kids are ready for school to get out already. Maybe this was the break they needed for the weekend. It was a relaxing day for all of us :)

We got so pruney we were forced out. We decided it was getting late enough in the day we better go. 

We retreated to our friend Tom's house who lives in a beautiful log cabin in the mountains. We had a BBQ and ended the night around a fire pit. What a exhausting, wonderful day....

It may have reminded us of a summer day. I think we are starting to long for it now ;)

Bryan sent me some cute photos of them in Ohio....

We sure missed those sparkly blue eyes and contagious smiles!
