This & That

This first photo was taken after a L.O.N.G day. I can't remember now exactly what we did that day. But around 8:30 pm - Bryan, Ava, and Isaac were all passed out in the living room.

LOL

These next pics are of Ava and Isaac ...................

Isaac was soooo proud after he pulled himself up on his feet in his crib (this was taken the first time he actually did it) ........... it's still weird to walk in and see him standing there calling for me to go and scoop him up. He looks like such a big boy standing up. lol

Speaking of looking like a big kid - check out Ava in these photos...............

Maybe she'll be on a dance team soon.....................

Grandma Hamilton gave her this dress - and Ava loves to wear it and show it off. It's pretty cute :)

In other news:

We are going to the Lamb's house this weekend - I'm sooooo excited to see all of them and FINALLY meet Addison!!!! Get ready, here we come Rachel!Italic

I've been doing massage therapy at Dr. Jesse Valadez's Active Chiropractic office . It's going pretty good for starting out. I like to have at least 3 clients to make the trip worth it. Usually it happens that way ;)
Here is my bodywork website I've been working on this week - feel free to check it out if you haven't seen it:

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Final Garden Update

This is going to be my last garden update until next year. Mom let me borrow her truck this week. I hauled over manuer & straw to layer on my gardens and flower beds (thank you mom!). This should help give the soil some added nutrients over the winter for planting next spring.

I ended up pulling all my tomatoe plants out - after I picked the green tomatoes off. Bryan made a.w.e.s.o.m.e. fried green tomatoes the other night ;)
The rest of them are rippening in my dark closet in newspaper..........

Here is what is left in my garden: hardy pepper plants that are still going strong. I can't believe it's October 21st and I still technically have a garden! This has to be a record. I'll probably end up pulling them out tomorrow because of the forecast in the next few days. Those pepper plants sure produced great this year.

Here are the hot (and I mean HOT) peppers :)

Purple Beauty Peppers :)

Well, now that I'm done "winterizing the garden" I'm sure I'll find other stuff to do in the yard before Old Man Winter arrives.
Well, I'm going to throw in a couple of photos of my kids in this post too...........

Would you like me to FedEx them to you in this box and you could care for them for the week?

Handle with care ;)
lol

Family Visit 2

Continuing on our family fun.........

We decided to go through Lehman Caves. It had been a long time since Ben and Deb had seen it. Grandma Billing had never seen anything like it. This was going to be fun to show them. It had recently rained and the scenery was gorgeous on the way up to Great Basin National Park.

We saw the first couple of rooms in the cave. That was enough walking for grandma.

These cave photos did not come out as I had planned. Sorry about the poor quality.

Grandma and Deb went with me one day to drop Ava off at preschool. They got the grand tour of the place :)

I realized I didn't take any photos! Failure on my part!

Random photo of a Great Horned Owl that was sitting on a pole near the preschool building at EskDale. He says "Hoo Hoo Hoo! Who are you?"

Ava and Isaac know that they are loved :)

One evening we got together at mom's place with Grandma and Grandpa Hanks. Great food and great company!

I snapped this photo before we started eating - because I knew grandpa Hanks would sneak out after dessert........ LOL

Isaac learned a lot while we had company. He's did his caver's shuffle across the floor in an incredible speed. Another example - he holds his arms up when you say "Superstar!!"

Another example is Ben teaching Isaac how to head-butt:

Here's a video: pretty funny :D

Family Visit

Ben, Deb, and Grandma Helen Billing made the trip out last Thursday from Ohio to see the kids, Uh hum, I mean us ;)

LOL

I think this was a memorable trip for Grandma Billing. I think she will take back a lot of memories.

Ben and Deb are so wonderful with the kids. They gave us a nice break from the normal routine. I was actually able to cook and bake something good! Ava and Isaac love their Grandma and Grandpa! Both of the kids were in great moods while they were here!

Poor Bryan was sick for a couple of days - you'll notice there aren't many pictures of him, until later on in the week. One of the days we took the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive. The weather was fantastic.

Grandma Billing was happy to have made it up to 10,000 ft and hold a snowball :)

I'll post more photos of their visit on my next blog...... stay tuned :D
