Cave Lake Run 2016

I was asked to volunteer for the annual "Take it to the Lake" run held at Cave Lake near Ely.
I performed bodywork for the contestants who finished the race. We were lucky to have beautiful weather!

Ava and Isaac signed up for the kids Fun Run. There were a lot of kids registered! This would be Ava and Isaac's first run officially :)
We had a few busy days prior to this day so the kids were tired (as was I) but we got pumped up with the energy of the crowd and music.....

They had the kids stretch before taking off....

Bryan watched Willow. She wasn't registered, but she ran anyway! Hahaha

The kids were happy to sport their medals and grab lunch!

We took the scenic route on the way home. There was a Fall feeling in the air.....

I was looking forward to seeing the colors up on Mt. Wheeler soon. I want to take advantage of the season. Walk under the gold, yellow, and red trees and feel the leaves crunch under my boots.
The mountain is calling; we will listen.
