*Sniff*
We named him well (Isaac means "Laughter") and he keeps us chuckling with the things he says and does. He's eager to learn new things. He's very inquisitive about everything. He's got a stubborn side as well, which can result in many disagreements. He likes to do things on his terms and must enjoy arguing. We have to remind him that we are the parents, and he's 5 ;)
But, at the same time try to feed his interests and answer his questions.
He has such a light in his face when he's in his element, doing things that he enjoys. What a smartie he is too. I think that if he was taller, as an example ~ he'd be able to drive. He knows what all the buttons are and all the mechanics of it. Ha! He's independent and wants to do things on his own.
He is soon ready for Kindergarten and is so excited to go. I love to see his passion for learning and he will take off in anything he puts his mind to. He is truly a gem.
Of course, Chef Isaac helped make his cake :)
Willow must have known it was a special day. She was so excited! Haha

Friends started to arrive, beginning with Dave and Donna........

What a wonderful gathering of great company........
The singing begins as the flames dance on the dinosaur candy covered cake......
The kids were on a sugar high before they even had cake! Haha
It was time to open cards and presents.......

Isaac officially has enough musical instruments to start his own band. What a lucky kid!
Willow's excitement with the bongos was short-lived..... ha!
It was Friday night! Which means ~ the Hamilton residence was alive with the sound of music.....
Isaac had a great birthday!
