Ahhhhh, refreshing ~ the month of May is like drinking fresh coconut water through a straw :)
The bees and birds are buzzing. The yard is bursting with color again. The hustle and bustle of life. The leaves of the trees provide nice shade for those hot moments in the day. Yes, it's 87 degrees today!
I'm excited for warm evenings. The kind where you walk around the yard barefoot, eat dinner outside, and end it with a nice sunset.
Matthew Baker is the first of many to turn 11 this summer! We helped him celebrate his birthday.
Two blondie cousins. Double Trouble :)
Meanwhile, Bryan and crew were working at a Bat Bioblitz in Joshua Tree, NP. They caught many cool species. This is a yellow bat, and a Mastiff bat ~ North America's largest bat. How awesome!
The temperatures climbed during the week and we spent many days at the Baker's pond. It's a refreshing little oasis! Makes me long for summer days a little quicker :)
Pup in training ~ although apparently she's a natural. Jupiter does not enjoy swimming in deep water, but she'll ride on the water. Can't wait to get her on the paddle board!
The kids had some splendid cousin time. Time with family is always too short......
We enjoyed a fabulous Mother's Day brunch at Keruac's enjoying delicious food, mimosas, and edible orchids!
