May was the month of water pouring from the sky bringing much needed rain to the valleys and snow to the mountains. I didn't have to drag hoses around my yard for 3 weeks at least. It was amazing to watch the systems move across the valley. It truly was making up for having such a dry winter. It's nice to see mountains capped with fresh powder. I think we used our rain jackets more the last few weeks than we have the last 8 years! Ha!
Thanks for the rain jacket Grandma Hamilton and the rain boots Aunt Sarah!
The pitter patter of steady rain on the roof is music to our ears.
Speaking of music...... we've been enjoying our music sessions with friends.
From now on, we will be playing outside under the stars because the temperatures have risen.
It feels like summer now.
Isaac is the drummer master. He's been able to pick out the rhythm since he was two. He's going to be a great musician with whatever he plays......
The beat goes on, with or without the pitter patter on rooftops.........
