Ava and her cousin Addison Lamb share the same birthday (August 21st). Rachel and Aaron were going to throw a birthday/summer BBQ at their home in Spring Creek. Sarah, Jamie and the girls had just moved to Eureka, NV from Las Vegas (just about an hour and half away from Elko) - so we decided to get the family together at the Lamb residence and make a small family reunion out of the weekend.
It had been a while since we all got together in one place; so it was nice to have the chance to do it despite everyone's crazy, busy schedules.

The food was soooooooooooo good! Aaron and his Dad fried a turkey, mushrooms, zuchini, and more; it makes my mouth water even now...............

Next on the agenda: the pull-string pinata......... that was a big hit with the kids!

Time for presents! All the kids helped Addison open them up of course. Oh, the excitement......
Sydnie & Ava really enjoyed their candy necklaces...............
Isaac, Morgyn, and Addison were all happy just to have something sweet in their mouths and a toy in their hand..............
It was fun to watch all the action on the deck that evening.......... good times, good times :)
Wish we could do it more often...........
