So, back to Easter ~ we managed to dye eggs the evening before the big day.
My friend Stephanie had dyed eggs the day before with her son Ben, and Isaac while I worked in Ely. Those eggs turned out like planets ~ they were so cool. The top three eggs in the picture below are those. The other one had a little crack in it during our session and it ended up looking like a spider web or something. These four were our favorites......
On Easter Day, we joined forces with friends and had an egg hunting party.
We had sunshine and lots of wind!
Honestly, I was surprised to see Willow walking around the yard with the basket and picking up eggs. Like she'd done it before! She's an incredibly quick study! Haha
The kids were so proud of their baskets being filled up with color :)
After finding all of the eggs (assuming they were all actually found) we sat down to enjoy the contents of the eggs.....
The kids looked so sweet sitting there together enjoying Easter morning......
A little bit of sweet treats almost made us forget about the wind. Almost ;)
Zeek, photobombing the picture.....
Even in the wind, the event ended in smiles; and that's what matters :)
