Bikes and Puddles

The tail end of summer we finally got a relief from the hot, dry spell with thunderstorms. Even if it didn't rain, the clouds were a welcoming sight and feel. The evenings have been spectacular for riding bikes. This particular day we had Charlie over who just happen to bring his own bike! He's been riding more this summer as well. I like to think that every time we ride we not only get exercise but it's good training for the upcoming "Wheel-a-thon" :)

The intrepid group:

We went riding over around the Great Basin Visitor Center for a warm-up and then we decided to ride over to the bike hills......

This place is more of a challenge....... which is good when the kids have the energy :)

It was a beautiful evening.....

On the return home we paused at the gas station where there was an exciting large puddle.
How could you pass up the opportunity to make a splash?
