Audrey was able to come; it was nice to have her company.
The salt flat provides a huge area to ride bikes without the worry of traffic and the freedom to roam.
After biking, we headed North where we came across an always recognizable sheep camp.
Didn't your momma ever teach you not to pee where you drink? I bet this dog eats yellow snow too.
Is he just territorial of his water source in this desert? Maybe we should ask that black sheep.....
This other old dog acts like he didn't have a care in the world at his old age.......
After that road block, we found ourselves at Knoll Springs.......
Isaac and Emma were thrilled with the water and fish. They had so much fun trying to catch them. Obviously that was a challenge, but it didn't stop them from trying! Haha
On the way back, we passed through the sheep herd again. There were a couple more (younger) dogs that appeared and greeted us. So, there must have been 4 - 5 dogs total on duty. These ones weren't as ferocious as other's I've seen before......
On the way passed EskDale, we stopped by the dairy to see the calves. I asked Emma and Isaac if they wanted their fingers sucked on by one. I thought they would say, "No way!" or something like that. But, we found one calf that wasn't frightened and they practically stuck their whole hand in its mouth!
Haha
