He still has a long way to go to catch up with his sister - but he's not lacking the effort.
You can't tell by the photo (obviously) - but these two already fight. Ava labels everything "mine" and sharing with Isaac proves to be a constant battle for her. She doesn't understand that he doesn't intentionally do some of the things he does. He's just grabs everything around him (like babies do) which ends up being a lot of Ava's stuff. She takes it personally. She's always defending her stuff. Ha ha. This is something we'll be working on for a long time.......
Isaac doesn't crawl, but "shuffles" instead - and can almost pull himself up holding onto furniture (or me). Pretty soon we'll be installing the baby gates again. Before we know it - we'll be chasing two kids around.
He still has the four teeth - no more popping through as far as I can tell. Plus, if he did he'd really let us know every minute of the day. His temper continues to match his hair.
When he's in a good mood - he can still be the biggest love bug ;)
In other news:
The weather changed dramatically. We've been enjoying thunder and rain. Typical October weather. The mountains got a blanket of snow. Good thing we went up the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive last week. There's a strong possibility it is closed now.
Preschool is back on track this week :)
Grandma & Grandpa Hamilton and Grandma Billings are coming at the end of the week! :)

I know! I can't believe it's October. I'm glad we made it up the scenic drive last weekend! ☺
