Snow Recess

March brought us a wonderful Spring storm. This, of course, is the time of year when the snow melts super fast. So we had to act quickly if we were going to play in it. We grabbed our gear and headed up to 8,000 ft. The kids are still home-schooling and this was going to be a grand recess!
Ironically, Ava has had these face masks long before the coronavirus. Looks like the will come in handy!

Isaac brought his skiis and planted them in the deep snow. It was also great to get some use out of our new sleds.....

Willow found the best seat in the forest and didn't hesitate shoveling piles of snowflakes into her mouth. What a beautiful day. It warmed up enough to shed some layers of clothes.
