Deb, Willow, Isaac and I decided to go up to Baker Creek to see if we could see some yellow-bellied rock marmots. They hibernate 9 months out of the year. We did see 4 -5 individuals. They were quick and shy so I didn't get any pictures. But, I was drawn to the mountain side bursting with bouquets of flowers. We decided we would do a little hike up one of the trails. The creeks were dancing in a rage through the forest......
After the hike we drove up to Mather Overlook (9,000 ft) to soak in the winter wonderland views haha.
Topped the adventure off with lunch at the cafe. Yum!
