The year 2018 has come to a close! *Insert fireworks* Last year I started taking these nature panoramas on some of my adventures (
Here). My goal this year was to revisit areas that I haven't been to for a long time. Also, discover new places. Again, these are local places I would consider "home" in the basin and range. Under the sun and stars in the vast high desert topography. Sometimes I had surges of energy and determination to carry my body up the mountain like my boots were bullets. Other times, I would just slowly saunter. Often at the end of the day I just stand still and watch the colors splash across the sky. One quote that I'm reminded of as I scroll through these images is:
"The best season for hiking is always today."
Without further ado, this is the collection of happy places in 2018 (in chronological order) .....
Cheers! May you go where you feel most alive!
This last pic is one that my friend Rosaleen took of me :)

ReplyDeleteThank you for following along. I love seeing people enjoying life. Luckily the Great Basin makes it an easy place to practice. Thank you! Happy New Year!
