Fall Break: Mojave Preserve:

After departing Vegas we broke up the trip by stopping at the Mojave Preserve. It was nice to get out and stretch our legs at the Kelso Sand Dunes. You would think twice about stopping here mid-summer. But, this time of year was great to soak in the sun and plant our feet in the sand. We had the whole place to ourselves which was extra special.....

Getting connected with the earth; one of the basic human needs ;)

Did I mention how great it was to stretch our legs?
