We have had a great Fall season this year. We didn't go from summer to winter in the blink of an eye, which was great. We've been enjoying the transitions of the season. The temperatures have been in the 70's. Last week it was in the 80's. This has given us a chance to get out and hike and do many outdoor activities after the kids get out of school.
I shot this picture out my window (which explains the streaks) of the many magpies raiding my Virginia Creeper berries that grow over my arch in the backyard. At one point there must have been almost a dozen magpies.......
A couple of days later, the Virginia Creeper had changed into its Fall wardrobe!
A Flicker was willing to compete for food with the magpies.........
That vine in our backyard makes a great backdrop for photography portraits!
Cue the Hami kids.........
