February Storm into March Blue Sky

The temperatures we predicted to rise again after this storm. I knew the snow would melt fast. I ended up having extra energy the next morning and decided to return to Upper Lehman for a 7:30 morning walk. Burrrrrrr, but beautiful!

Frosty walk through the woods, across the bridge, and over the frozen creek. Peace and Solitude.

A dose of winter ecotherapy was a great way to start the morning.

Another day during the week we tiptoed across the thin ice at Garrison reservoir. Only the edges were solid. The lake has not froze completely all year.

Now that February is over, the harshest (usually coldest) time of the year is over. There is an extra bounce in my step as we skip into March!
