Ahhhh, the North Rim. It was an overcast day with occasional periods of sun. Gorgeous day for photography. At one point there was a crash of thunder, but just that one time that I can recall. It was jacket weather and a great day for a walk along the rim. We made sure to take the hands of our kids. With no hand rails on portions of the trail, you can see how people could be a statistic on NPS news....
Our first "Grand Canyon" adventure with kids.....
This was the more crowded area of the rim (nothing compared to the South). We anticipated exploring Kaibab National Forest ~ where there would be less hustle and bustle......
