Circus in Ely 2014

So, a small circus came to Ely, NV in early June. So, along with friends we gathered at the fairgrounds to watch the greatest show on earth. Ok, maybe it wasn't the greatest show ~ but, this small circus was impressive! Thus, I took a lot of photos. So, here they are......enjoy:

It weather was a little colder than we thought it would be!
Isaac and Ava quickly found their friends. Emma had a great face paint :)

We don't have cotton candy very often, so that was a treat for the kids.....

The tigers did some amazing tricks!

This white tiger was commanded to act aggressive......

Yes, there were clowns......

Skilled trapeze artists:

Yeah, that lady in the purple is hanging and rotating swiftly by her neck.....

There was a "living carousel" consisting of a horse, camel, llama, and pony......

This act was pretty amazing.... what a talent!

Another great talent; things got a little more interesting when she balanced on her head!

My favorite part of the show were the elephants. Well-trained, I might add!

Check out this man's job....... he follows the elephants around with a bucket to "catch the scat!"
Hahaha

One of the highlights of the night was for $10 ~ you could ride an elephant!

How cool!

The final act of the evening, a man shooting himself out of the rocket......

*BOOM !*

WOW!
What a great show! We probably won't make it to a rodeo this summer, so I'm happy we got to see this!
The summer in general has been a circus.....and it's not over! Ha!
