Winter Walk Under the Pines

Well, I thought I better document my first and last (real) taste of Winter in 2020. Yeah eye-roll. I even had to go to 7,000 ft to find measurable snow. We were in New Mexico and Old Mexico during the last storms. This tells you it wasn't a significant winter. So, when we got a storm on March 2nd, I decided to transport myself into a "winter wonderland." I needed to see a good winter blanket of snow this year in Snake Valley.

Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive road up to Upper Lehman......

The only movement through the Pinyon, Juniper, and Ponderosa trees was myself and a few wild turkeys.....

Colors of the rainbow have only arrived through sunsets in the Great Basin. Soon, the daffodils will be making their grand arrival. We are pretty mindful about checking to see if there is a canvas of color across the sky around dinner time. We've been getting a little more lucky these evenings :)

My kind of living room.
My kind of poison.

Bring on the Spring color!

"Once Upon A Mattress" Production

EskDale High School had their 2020 Musical Production "Once Upon a Mattress."
The costumes were incredible. Each one of the young actors worked very hard. Everyone did such an amazing job! I could watch it over and over. It came together beautifully!
Ava loves being a part of a team. She loves to perform, a fact you can tell by watching her. She's growing into a beautiful, talented, sweet young woman. I got tears in my eyes watching my mighty girl enjoying the stage and her peers in complete confidence. She had two roles in this play.
