Grey Cliffs/Baker Creek Campground Walk

I'm f.i.n.a.l.l.y able to post photos! I feel like it's been weeks! A lot has been happening in our little world. Too tired to go into any details now..........

So, here are some photos of our little walk with Nomi and Charlie.........

I was trying to get a photo of Isaac passed out in the pack :)

As I mentioned in an earlier post, sticks and rocks are always a hit with toddlers. Especially when the rock is really big :)

Isaac woke up and was thrilled to join Ava and Charlie on the rocks................

Look what tasty snack we found in the woods!!!! This was one highlight for the day! Yummers!

Charlie makes a great hunter and gatherer :)

Return to Gandy Warm Springs

Yet again, our internet has been hit & miss the last couple of weeks - it may be a while before the technician comes out to repair it. I'll try to upload photos when I can - but I won't be able to put on videos; unless I have a strike of luck.

We try to go up to warm springs every summer when we can. It's 40 miles on a gravel road (so it's quite the drive) but it's soooo worth it when we get there. What a fantastic day. Ava loved the fact that she could walk through the water without assistance - of course we keep our eye on her because she hasn't learned to swim yet.

In other news:

Isaac is cutting another tooth - and he's not the only one complaining....... lol

Dr. Jesse Valadez (my friend and the chiropractor I was working with in Ely) relocated his business to Oklahoma. He was offered a deal he couldn't refuse and it was the best thing for him and his family. They will be missed! Best of luck Valadez clan!!!!!

So, I am continuing to work out of my office every Monday. Business is still going good :)

Bryan was attacked by a flying mammal! Yeah, you read that right.

lol

He was coming out of T&D's at night when something grabbed his nose. It hung on the cartilage of his nose until he brushed it away. To his complete surprise - a bat had just bit his nose and drew blood! How many people can say they've had that experience............. Ha ha

Late Photo Post: Preschool

Now that it is August - there's a buzz about school starting again. It feels like the munchkins just got out! C.R.A.Z.Y!
Anyway, I had a collection of photos of the preschoolers that I took last May (before this wild bunch was released for the summer) and I was "reminded" recently to post them.......... I can't believe that it's going to start all over again soon! There were a few other kids that didn't come this particular day so they weren't included in these photos................

Live Simply

We've been enjoying the summer thus far:
Beautiful flowers, birds & butterflies, gardening, the pitter-patter of little feet, music resonating from a guitar, time with family & friends, trails under our feet, stars and Milky Way above our heads; topped off with evening thunderstorms. What more could you ask for?

The joy of being free...............
