Mt. Washington Hike

The second hiking adventure was around the summit of Mt. Washington. This was a spur of the moment decision. After a mildly rainy evening we woke up to wet tents. We decided to go exploring while our equipment dried out. The views from this summit never gets tiring.

Most of our group decided to sit on the peak and relax. Part of us decided to make the steep descent down to the Bristlecone Pine grove.

These purple beauties were blooming all around in the rocks. So pretty!
