Moab: Part Two

On my birthday, we hiked up a canyon that had a refreshing stream to jump into. If there was any requirement on this trip, it was that any hike would have to have water to play in. My sister knows all the cool spots :)
Again, I stole some of my sisters photos for this post.

Isaac, Alex, and Willow made mud castles while Ava, Addison, and Hayden found and captured bugs, crayfish, and tadpoles....

We just enjoyed the water on a triple digit day.

One of my favorite places in Moab area is Dead Horse State Park. I decided we would have my birthday cake with a view at sunset. Ahhhhhhhh happy place.

I was grateful to share this time with my sisters and get all the kids together. What a treat.

Here's to my last year in my thirties!

Another day in Moab, another great adventure. This time is was Rachel's birthday! We decided to visit Hite, (Glen Canyon) where we would picnic and swim. Then take a scenic detour on dirt roads back to Green River.

In our desert wanderings, we came across a large sand dune. It burned the feet but the kids didn't care haha. It didn't bother Jupiter either as she was playfully chasing them.

Another pause at Horseshoe Canyon:

Just before reaching Green River there was a playa full of rain water. Pretty, but the bugs were bad. We didn't stay long. The sun was getting low in the sky.

It's always nice to return to Audrey's inviting house and cute backyard. We ended the day with birthday cake and a hot tub soak.

This trip felt short. Seems to always be the case. But, we were also ready to get home and see Bryan. We missed him.
