Isaac's Follow-up Appointment

Bryan and I took Isaac into SLC for his follow-up appointment. We got an update x-ray to look at the pins. He would also get his new cast which he would wear for three weeks. We return April 1st. Kids heal amazingly fast, which is fortunate.

Isaac got to choose the color of his cast. He was looking forward to people signing it too.....

This was a much more secure cast. Better already! He won't have to worry about his little sister banging his arm up anymore......

Isaac had mom and dad all to himself. I think he enjoyed that. Bryan wanted to meet up with a colleague/friend who specializes with small mammals. We got the behind-the-scenes tour of the Natural Museum of Utah. Super exciting!

We got to go back into the new lab, curating room, and preservation units. Impressive layout.....

There was a temporary exhibit called, "Geckos Live" we were able to see.....

See, we do have a little fun on these long drives to Dr. appointments ;)
Isaac is adjusting very well to his cast. It certainly doesn't slow him down. He's discovered he's ambidextrous. Even his teacher thinks so. I think he'll look forward to riding bikes and swimming again tho. Maybe even having a real shower! Haha
