WHOA! We got snow!
We finally got the system we'd been waiting for! 10 inches of a heavy wet blanket of white covered the valley floors. Mt. Wheeler finally looks dressed for the season too. We haven't seen this amount cover the sagebrush floor in years. It looked beautiful (as long as you didn't have to commute) and we've had some fun play days in it. Usually the thirsty earth sucks up the moisture super fast. I have a feeling this might stick around a little longer so we can enjoy it. Zeek immediately frolicked in it....
Diego (our old man) may not have enjoyed it as much, judging by the scowl... haha
(He may have gotten tossed in it).....
He perked up after that ;)
We had a snow friend erected by the end of the day ;)
A sledding party was organized and we all hit the gravel pit for a thrill. A few of those piles were steep! So much fun!
Tana made hot buttered rum. Yummers!
We gained some serious speed on those runs! Hahaha
I stole this last photos off Facebook from my friend Brandi :)
Yeah, this will happen again ;)
