Moab Trip: Canyonland NP/Potash Road

Wrapping up our weekend trip to Moab, we ended it with taking a drive on Potash Road. It's a high clearance scenic byway that winds down the red cliffs and takes you down to the Colorado River.
The other half of our party (Deb, Sarah, and kids) went to Arches NP. We started the drive in Canyonlands NP.......

A few miles into the drive looking down.......

Colorado River.....

Zen moment...... ;)

Potash Mine:

It was nice to discover more of Moab. Every time we visit we only scratch the surface of things to do there. What a great place. We will be back to do more exploring.....

Moab Spring Break: Happy Easter!

...... our spring break adventure was wrapping up. It was Easter Sunday. We decided to have an egg hunt at a nice little park by the Colorado River. Then we went up to Potash Road to see some more rock art, take a little walk and do a little climbing. This was the warmest day of the week...

So glad we reunited with these shining faces!

Happy Easter!
Look at those cutie pies :)

Zeek may or may not have been thrilled about his transformation hahaha

I hope that we can meet in Moab at least once every year. We would love to raft again, bike, or do some off-roading sometime too. We have a lot of great memories in this neck of Utah. The break flew by as we expected it to because that's how life seems to be rolling these days. I cherish the memories we get to make as a family when we can. Until the next road leads us to another Hami adventure!
