Christmas Break Getaway

My family rented out a house in Santa Clara, Utah for a couple of nights. It was great to go south to some warmer weather. The temperatures were in the 50s. The biggest activity which required driving about an hour was going to the Pink Coral Sand Dunes. This would our second trip there. In fact we went last year at the same time (posted Here) and thoroughly enjoyed it.
This time, we rented a sand sled and board and we took turns riding down. It was a quick trip down and a long hike back up the dunes. We got our exercise in! It felt good to get the sun on our skin and the sand under our bare feet.

It was great to see everyone. The kids especially love to play with their cousins. Good times.

............ "He's going to find out if you've been naughty or nice!"

It's that time of the year when the kids dress up into something "formal"~  therefore I drag them in front the of Christmas tree to preserve it with a photo shoot Haha. Pretty sure it's at least the 9th year doing this tradition :)
Usually one of the kids try to resist. This year it was Ava. Middle school mood and attitude kicking in? I think I saw some eye rolls too. I had to bribe them all with chocolate. At least that still works!
I get it, it's weird to smile on command  :)

Snap, snap, snap ...... the moment got silly!
lol

Unfortunately, I didn't get cards out again this year. Ugh. In saying that I hope your holidays are filled with doing things and surrounding yourself with people you LOVE.

Go shout it from the mountain "It's officially Christmas Break!"
