Sledding on Superbowl Sunday

What a beautiful day to sled. Check out those snow-capped mountains. We've only had a couple of snow storms that really accumulated enough snow to play in so far this season. The East is getting our share this year; they continue to get pounded. I sure hope we get some more systems in the next couple of months.

You never know what expressions you'll get when your sledding. Thankfully, there were more smiles and squeals than frowns and complaints....

When we wrapped up sledding, we went to a Superbowl party at Ben and Chandra's house. They have this adorable Bernese Mountain puppy. He's making Zeek look like his lunch already....

How cute is that?

Emma's Birthday Party

Little miss Emma turned 4 at the beginning of February. The night before we had so much snow that we ended up walking to their house instead of driving in fear of getting stuck. For this reason, some of Emma's classmates weren't able to make it. On this snowy, cold day we found ourselves playing games and watching the kids create an obstacle course through the living room.

Willow doesn't dress up very often; she's much more comfortable in sleep-n-plays usually.
Jackie Jay knows that too :)

The kids learned about static electricity and balloons. Balloons are always a great distraction and hit at parties of course.....

The kids also enjoyed the craft table.....

It was time to have cupcakes!

Emma, who generally looks dressed up for any occasion, looked especially pretty for her special day :)

Willow loves to watch people, so she was really content in a little chair.....

Out came the piƱata;  the birthday girl was first at the bat.......

What a great way to spend a winter's day.....

It's amazing how soon each birthday rolls around... you have to make the most of your time :)

3 Months Old

Our baby girl is 3 months old today....on Valentine's Day! She's still as sweet as the candy Ava will bring home from school.... haha
She's just happy sitting in someone's (really anyone's) arms and taking in the sights and sounds. I still can't believe what a great baby she is. I'm thankful for that....since Bryan and I are outnumbered ;)

Doesn't that face just pull at your heart strings?

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I'm going to enjoy the day with my 4 Valentines :)
XOXO
