Ava loved climbing all over the rock. Her shoes clung to the granite like gecko's feet to a sidewalk. This type of rock is fun to play on. It's hard to explain and I found it difficult to photograph to show you the patterns. The pictures just don't do it justice. Oh well.
I think she felt empowered climbing all the way up there.
This is Isaac's first camping trip and he was happy to look around.......
Ava ended up ripping the back of her pants from sliding down the rock on her butt........ lol
We got camp set up and started to settle down........
It seemed like it got dark fast, but then again we kind of had a late start driving here.
Notice Isaac has a pillow like Ava's purple one? He is really attached to his blue one too! lol
We had a tasty dutch oven dinner (thank you Ben & Brandi!) and lemon bars (thank you Meg!).
Ahhhhh, great food, great music, and great friends. What more could you ask for? It's sooooo nice to relax! Ava was so exhausted from the day's activities she didn't stay up too late.
Isaac was really enjoying the sight & sounds of the fire and daddy's guitar that he didn't miss a beat :)
We weren't sure who else (around Baker) would show up to join us camping - but it ended up being Ben, Brandi, Lindsay, Meg, Eric, and our family.

10:00 pm rolled around and look who was still up observing the activity? lol. Isaac has never stayed up this long at night. He ended up falling asleep a half hour later.
We all hit the tents around 11:30.
The next morning Ava begged Lindsay to tackle the rocks again......
It's kinda funny, Ava has a hard time saying words that start with the letter "L." So, when Ava says Lindsay's name she says "Yindsay."
Brandi is one of the best photographers I know........
Well, we didn't want the day to get away from us, so we packed up and headed out. Leaving Blue Mass we spotted a group of healthy and pretty wild horses
Our next stop on this Lazy Sunday? Tungstonia and Warm Springs. Those photos will be posted on my next blog.........
It's 10:00 pm now and I've had a l.o.n.g. day........... and I need to be rested for tomorrow's activities at Silver Creek. I also turn 30 tomorrow! I can't believe it. Bye Bye 20's !!!!!!!
