HamiFami "February" 2021

We usually get a good dump of measurable snow in February. This time it really accumulated on the valley floors! We were delighted!

How refreshing it was to get outside with our friends and sled at the gravel pit near town.

My friend organized a caving trip. You don't feel a winter chill when you are crawling underground.
These kind of activities with our friends made life feel not as much so covid isolating. Thanks for the invite Gretchen!

Isaac and Willow had teeth removed. Isaac had so many extra teeth he needed to have oral surgery.
It was as fun as the look on his face. Poor Isaac. Been there done that.

One of the positive take-away's from living life during covid? I'm doing more human BEING instead of human DOING. Sunsets also remind us everyday to pause and simply ~ BE.

HamiFami "January" 2021

Our band (The Front Porch Pickers) continue to get together every Friday night at our neighbor's house. Sometimes we do gigs for special occasions at the businesses. This was our first time playing inside the Bristlecone General Store, newly owned by our friend and neighbor Liz Woolsey.

Ava and her classmates have guitar class at school. She really seems to enjoy it and is a quick study.

Willow has been practicing staying flexible and is determined to keep working on her form :)

I consider it to be lucky any time we get an opportunity to ice skate.
Fortunately, we got to make circles on Silver Creek! Covid still hung over everyone's head and everyone was socially isolating. I did a video on this little adventure you can watch (Here).
I chuckled at the song titled "Six feet apart" by Alec Benjamin. At least we had the wide open county to wander and play. Isolating at home can feel claustrophobic after a while.
