October

Covid + the election + strong narcissism energy heavy in the world had me like:

Haha
So, we felt the need to get our feet into nature much much more this fall. We explored the hills. We are so blessed to have the ability and freedom to roam so much country out here.

Life plugs on and we do the best we can. Ava got her braces off after two years! Woot woot!

Isaac is still baking goodies, in style! Hahaha

Willow and Daddy snuggles  :)

It's been nice to slow down and just be. Just breathe.

We finally had some clouds roll in which gave us a tremendous 4:35 pm glorious show!

I'm making it a habit of continuing to find regular little "doses of awe" especially in turbulent times.

Horse Training

Ava and her friend Emma are taking horse lessons from Mountain View Equine.
Horses teach confidence, leadership, patience, relationships, boundaries, trust, strength, authenticity and being in the present. 93 % of our communication is non-verbal, which means horses can sense our clarity. So grateful these girls are getting equine therapy. They are learning new skills for life, having fun, and being in the moment. Thank you Hannah and Clay for being super instructors and mentors!

Giddy-up !

Autumn Glow

Early October I managed to enjoy a fall hike on the Alpine Lakes Loop with a friend of mine.
The aspens were in various stages. Some trees had naked branches, the leaves scattered underneath speckling the ground. Others were just getting started and some were in their prime autumn foliage.
The sun rays brought out the glow through the trees and warmed our faces.

Autumn is usually the time I drag the kids out to do an impromptu photo shoot. I'm lucky they oblige with little complaining. I love these smiles all year long,  not just the Fall  ;)

October at the HamiFami residence.....

Changes of the season. Changes around the globe. Changes in our country. Changes in our lives and inside of us.

September we focused on our mental health.
