Moab Adventure

We recently made a great escape to Moab to visit my sister. This was the only time to fit this trip in the whole summer. I knew the days would peel off the calendar fast and we took the opportunity. We had a relaxing weekend. We didn't rush anywhere to do anything touristy this time. No schedule, no pressure to bounce from place to place...... just whatever. It was great. Audrey is a great host and she now owns a cute new house. We are so excited for her.
All our time outside was spent near and in water. One of our favorite local swimming holes is Mill Creek. I really enjoy the hike there too, meandering through the creek, up against the canyon wall, and though the forests. It never gets old. What a gem of a place to cool off in the summer heat.....

On Father's Day, we decided to play in the Colorado River. Soaking and floating; watching the clouds go by. Ava would find perches to launch herself off of as usual haha. Isaac and Willow love to play in the sand. What another beautiful day. What another beautiful day........

Thoroughly enjoyed those lazy river days.......

Ode to Diego

Our feline family member, Diego, had his final chapter this week. We said goodbye to him before he passed. He's been with us for an estimated 16 years. He was the greatest cat anyone could have asked for. Thanks for bringing joy into our lives our dear Diego. You are missed.
