Arcosanti, AZ: Experimental Community

(Cricket, cricket)........... sorry about the absence of updating my blog. It's been a whirlwind. *sigh*
Speaking of a whirlwind; our trip to Arcosanti mid-September was just that. Sarah & Waseem were getting married! We were so happy to finally reach our destination after a long drive I almost kissed high AZ desert soil. Haha
Arcosanti is an experimental community which explores the concept of arcology (combining architecture and ecology). The goal is meshing social interaction and accessibility of an urban environment with sound environmental principles, such as minimal resource use and access to the natural environment. They are highly known for their molten bronze bell casting. Beautiful, various handmade bells help add character to the unique buildings......

It was great to see these familiar, fantastic faces after the long drive......

We were eager to try out the pool......

Cousins reunite!!!!
