Bryan's Birthday!

So, I'm behind on my blogging which I usually try to avoid. Because of activities, time, and mostly technical difficulties ~ here I am. However in the near future when I do happen to get my photos uploaded I may go on a wild rampage of posts to get quickly caught up ;)

Someone turned 39 (and it wasn't me)! Bryan's birthday was in middle of the week so we had a very low key dinner. I like low key in the middle of a hectic week :)
Ava, Isaac, and I spent part of the afternoon making paper designs for the party.......

Willow looks so grown up in her pigtails and party dress :)

I guess these two were hinting at getting to the dessert part....... haha

You can't see them very well in the photos, but hanging from the light are our paper-made party snakes of all colors......

Willow said "Birthday" for several days after the party. I think she's into these annual parties ;)

Birthdays are pretty delicious!

Warm Springs

We've been able to rendezvous at Gandy Warm Springs a couple of times this summer. The first time we went with my cousin Haley and my sister Sarah and family. It's such a beautiful, refreshing oasis in the desert. The main section of the springs is shallow with a small cave that you can seek shade in. It was great to be surrounded by laughter, conversation, and dragon flies......

This is a view from inside the cave looking out.....

A short hike up the mountain there is a smaller pool where you can soak in the water and the views ;)

A short drive downstream there is a man-made section that requires you to plug the culvert; once you do the water rises to provide you with more of a work-out swimming experience...... stronger current and all. Super fun!

This is a great way to wear kids out on a hot summer day!

The next time we went, the Lamb family and Audrey were able to join us!

Willow after missing her nap...... lol

Everyone loves crazy Aunt Audrey! We sure do miss her!

It was great to reunite again with family!
