Hello Spring!

St. Patrick's Day flew by with my little leprechaun ;)

I feel like I'm still scrambling, as time eludes me. Tornado Willow tries her best to keep me busy and keep my attention. Although the other day I realized as I was making lunch that she was really quiet. I walked around the house looking for her; even went outside thinking she's popped out there really quick. Nope. Hmmmm. Curious. I went back again to Ava's room after hearing shuffling. I looked on Ava's top bunk to see Willow's large mischievous smile.
lol I had to run to grab my camera then we both had a good laugh. Oh boy, does she remind me of how Ava used to be at that age......

All fun and games until someone can't get down.... ha!
Good thing mom was around to assist ;)

Ava, Isaac, and I went to Ely one night with friends. We tried out the new playground equipment. Afterwards we went to dinner and bowled a couple of games.

Isaac and Ava beat my score...... Ha!

March 19th, Bryan had the hardware removed from his tibia and fibula. The surgery took a half an hour and now he's on the road to recovery. My mom watched the kids.
It only takes surgery for us to get a date night ;)
lol

I'm itching to improve the soil in my garden. I have much work to do and I probably won't get around to it until mid-April; hopefully sooner.
My forsythias are in their spring wardrobe. Beautiful. Also, my peach tree has blossoms for the first time this year!

 Snakes are out of hibernation.........

Must be Sssssssssssssspring!

Winter Carnival 2015

The Winter Carnival, a fundraiser for the local schools, had an astronaut theme this year. It's always fun to see how the stage in Baker Hall will be decorated. Of course the food, games, and friends are always great too! There was good turnout.

Below is the Garrison School Astronauts:

All us parents created a space themed game booth:

As you can tell by the kid's faces, they looked forward to this event all week!
We managed to get a family photo, which was great :)

Another Winter Carnival passes us by.......

Isaac's new smile!

Isaac has many extra teeth (like his mother had). His teeth are pretty crowded on top. He had an abscess above his top tooth (in the gum) which he never complained about! The orthodontist found it and said that that tooth would have to be removed. He instructed Isaac to wriggle it out, which was the plan. Well, time passed and the tooth was really loose but was being stubborn. I tried to pull on it. Bryan tried to pull on it ~ so we decided to better get the skill of a dentist. We made a trip into Ely for the big day.
Isaac is such a great patient. What a little trooper. It was no fun, but with a pretty good attitude he pulled through (and so did the tooth!) Haha

...... and he's sporting a new hair cut. He likes to style it occasionally.
Such a handsome little man!

Bryan is on the road to recovery. His surgery is scheduled for March 19th, in which he'll get the hardware removed from his ankle. That date is coming up fast!

Willow is here, there, everywhere! In my opinion, she's in one of the most challenging stages of child-rearing. There are days I want to pull my hair out and lock myself in a bathroom. But, it's also one of the most expressive, fun stages where she's like a parrot and repeating words and learning new things at warp speed. Ha!
.....and that joyful, playful laugh of hers that lights me up. Soooo cute!

Teething, it's the worst! For her and us!
lol

She's such a goofball.....

It's hard being 1!
Life is such a pain in the head sometimes.......

Thankfully bumps and bruises have been minimal the couple of weeks. She's a lot more sure-footed and her balance is great. She's even galloping now. Which means she likes to run from me, especially when I say, "Diaper change!"
lol
She'll be climbing up the ladder to the roof of the house in no time.

After those stressful, busy days.... we sometimes get rewarded with a beautiful sunset. Isaac ran inside and told me to come look because the sky looked like a volcano :)

and then the next morning, we do it all again........
