Snow Angels

We enjoyed the 7 inches of snow on our grass for a very short period of time; one maybe two days. Haha
Willow loves to walk around and sample the snow to make sure it all tastes the same, I guess.....

This was the last day that it snowed. The flakes melted as they hit the ground. I wanted to get at least one picture of the kids with falling snow flakes this year. Even if I only had one chance. Today was that day:

My big girl.....

Goal complete; with smiles. Success!
Love my snow angels :)

Snow Day with Friends

March 1st and 2nd came in like a lion bringing much needed moisture in the form of a heavy blanket of snow to the Great Basin. Baker got about 7 inches the first day, however it was melting fast into the thirsty ground! The park, around 7,000 ft got over a foot. So, that's where we headed up to meet with friends. Although it wasn't our usual spot (Baker Creek was closed) we still had fun!
It was so beautiful!

The turkeys were swimming through the snow.......

Snowball fight! ........

Some of the kids marching through the snow like ducks in a row.......

Upper Lehman Campground:

It was a beautiful sight to see the mountains and valleys dressed in white :)
