Halloween: At the Border Inn

Saturday was the Border Inn Halloween Party. We all got dressed up and continued to experiment with the paints. Ava went as a tiger this time (sticking with the cat theme). Isaac wore his little cowboy suit. I painted freckles and a mustache on his face - but it didn't last long. However, I quickly took some photos before he smeared the red and black colors across his face....lol
Bryan went as a vampire again - but wore a different mask. I went as a panda bear.

Grrrrrrrrroooooooooowwwwwwwwwlllllllllllllll

The kids had a lot of fun playing on the carousel....................

The party was really started when the kareoke & dancing began. I have to admit it, that was really fun..............

This little tiger and cowboy ended up passing out on the benches after running around & dancing. I was looking forward to tomorrow, Sunday, having the whole day to relax. The actual day of Halloween was Monday; I was already "halloweened" out...............

almost ;)

Halloween: At the Whispering Elms

It's the first day of November already! Yesterday was a warm, beautiful, sunny day. The whole month of October was fantastic! Today the mountains and sky are socked in with dark grey, angry-looking clouds.

We went to the adult party at the Whispering Elms last Friday night. Most people present dressed up for the occassion. Bryan wore his Mardi Gras mask we got at New Orleans (he looked sort of like a classy vampire ;)

Here are (some) of the photos of the Elms party; the rest of them I'll upload to my web album:

Bryan bought some paints; I had fun creating a leopard face.........

Thanks Audrey for watching the kids while we had a night out!

:D
