My Baby Girl is 4 !!!

We've really never had a big birthday bash for Ava ~ the last 3 years have been pretty low-key. Now that she is bigger and understands, we thought we'd go ahead and make it a bigger celebration. Even though we threw her party at our house a week late (due to conflicts in schedules) she was excited the whole week! Mostly she was thrilled to have the company!

Adam fired up the grill and we chowed down on burgers and hotdogs, and more.......

My cousin Annette offered to take our family photo (thanks Annette!), which was a good idea and I didn't think of it at the time. This was as good as it got with our over-stimulated kids :P

I will say, Ava LOVED her party and she slept great that night!

Thank you for all the thoughts, wishes, cards, and gifts that everyone got our little 4 year old! Wish we could have had all the family there!

Hami Moments

These are photos taken on random days throughout the month of August. I can't believe today is the first day of September!!!! I have to say, I'm liking the temperatures because we are having cooler mornings in which I can take the kids on a bike ride or play outside before the sun really warms the ground. So, far every weekend this month is booked with activities. This weekend is the annual Snake Valley Reunion which is a big event in the valley. People come from all over the place to visit at this time of year (especially because it's labor day weekend). We are looking forward to good company and food. We may even go to the Border Inn and shake a leg at the dance.

Isaac was jealous of Ava when I played airplane with her. So, of course, he got to enjoy the terbulance too! This little man loves anything that makes his stomach jump. Seriously.

Just so you know I didn't ask the kids to pose for that last photo. Sometimes Ava says, "Here mom, this would make a good picture!!"

This was one of those times and I couldn't resist. How cute are they? Look how big Isaac is next to Ava. They are both growing up too quickly right before my eyes; *sniff*...........................
