The following photos were taken in the same weekend of our 2010 Hanks Family Reunion. Michelle, Daryl, Malcolm, and Annette stopped by our house for a visit. Ava ALWAYS gets excited when people come over. She never fails to ask "Do you want to go to my room?" lol
Isaac really hams it up for Michelle......

Annette mustered up some courage and decided to hold "Mr. Candy" Bryan's Corn Snake.

Malcolm holding the King Snakes......

Here's the Malcolm you all know and love with his classic "funny face." I forgot to get the picture of him turning his eyelids inside out......

LOL

These next photos were posted backwards. Oh well.
Jamie, Sarah, Mom, myself, and the kids had a picnic and went hiking on the South Fork Baker Creek Trail. Here are Isaac and Morgyn chillin' under a tree.

Toddlers and sticks... hmmmm....
Also did I mention how hard it was to get a picture of everyone looking at the same time!

The creek was roarin' and the kids really enjoyed the bridges. Towards the end of hike they were complaining. lol

There were lots of wildflowers that I didn't get photos of........

Even with the complaints it was still fun. Maybe the kids will be more up for it next time......
I really love that trail. Last time Ava, Isaac, and I hiked it a month ago, we saw a baby Rock Marmot and a Blue Grouse (with her newly hatched chicks). I didn't have my camera with me (DUH!) at the time.

Hanks Family Reunion 2010

I feel like I'm so far behind on my blog - I've been busy with the craziness of Summer. I'll try to update this more regularly. I can't believe it's already the 4th of July tomorrow!
Anyway, we had the Hanks Family Reunion on the 26th of June. Here are the pictures I took. I would have taken a lot more of people there except I was trying to put Isaac asleep in the house and it literally felt like it took an hour. Sorry if I left people out. Hopefully I get a chance to "steal" other people's photos. I had a good time and the food and company were terrific!

This summer it was held at Bethel (my Mom's house; you can tell by the really green grass, gorgeous flowers, and Dad's handmade arches).
lol

Daryl brought out a fun bean bag toss game.....................

I have more photos to post in my next blog of the same weekend.
In other news:
My Home Farm Wellness Seminar presentation (about massage & bodywork) went very well. I met some great people and I received many positive comments. Mom's Herbology presentation was a huge hit!
Isaac had his appoinment with Dr. Morales in early June. Everything appears great and we don't have to schedule another follow-up for a year!
Bryan performed surgery on a few rattlesnakes: they now have transmitters in them.

Otherwise, I hope everyone has a safe, happy, and eventful holiday weekend!!!
